About Ellen, Roxanne, & Jill

The Collective

Leadership Consultant &
Executive Coach

From 2012 to 2022, Ellen grew Therapy Austin from a simple domain name into a thriving agency spanning five locations, employing 120 counselors, and serving over a thousand clients each week. After a challenging sale and exit, she is now bringing her clinical expertise in behavior and development along with her passion for business growth and operations to focus solely on executive leadership. From organizational and individual assessment to confidential development work, she provides consultation and coaching to Austin’s senior leaders and teams.

We first met working at Therapy Austin together in the early 2010’s. Leading, training, creating and serving in a community we loved. We stretched ourselves, challenged each other, and co-created programming and policies to support a rapidly growing staff. Always striving to expand our skills and deepen our craft, we were steadfastly committed to ongoing development and ethical practice.

As we made our way through the pandemic and the social upheaval of 2020, then into the post-COVID world, we reflected on what we had built, what it demanded of us, and where we wanted to go next. Eventually, each of us left Therapy Austin to establish solo practices, but our collegial connection remains strong.
